They thought it was a knife but it was a ladle . Last night in Sassari the fight between three homeless Nigerians in via La Marmora had led people to believe that blades were being used while in fact the beatings were taking place between the protagonists with the kitchen tool.

Tensions quickly rose to the sky because there were fears of another chapter in the blitz by law enforcement that took place on Tuesday in the area with 14 arrests and drug seizures. In reality, the reasons for the brawl were more "prosaic" and linked to an alleged theft that one of the trio had committed from a fellow countryman .

When the robbed man asked for an explanation , the altercation between the two began, with shouting and punches, while the residents called the State Police and in the meantime a third person tried to separate the two . As witnessed by the videos, an Italian man present at the scene ended up on the ground at a certain point.

Today in the court in Sassari the direct trial was held for the three Nigerians defended by the lawyer Giuseppe Onorato and the judge ordered the measure of house arrest for all three.
